PURPOSE:To retrieve and extract the Kanji (Chinese character) word train of a proper combination, by dividing an input Kana (Japanese syllabary) character train into every Kana for phonetically reading Kanji in the round robin system to retrieve a dictionary in full. CONSTITUTION:A series of input character data trains read out from a keyboard controller 6 is written in an input character data train register SWB of an RAM14. One-byte data of character data trains in the register SWB is written into a data register YM. Contents of a pointer SP are written into a data register SPI. It is discriminated whether pronunciation information in a dictionary indicated by a pointer GP and data in the register YM coincide with each other or not; and if they coincide with each other, contents of a count register GC are counted up by ''1'', and data is written in a data register JI. If they do not coincide with each other, it is discriminated whether pronunciation information in the dictionary JISH is larger than data in the register YM or not. When a search word table buffer memory SWTBL is overflowed, searching of words is terminated. |
