PURPOSE:To reduce the forced vibration generated at the contact point of a band saw and the work by integrally connecting a drive housing of a band saw machine and a drive wheel with fastening bolts via an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:When a band saw 23 is circulated at a specific speed and start cutting a work M the shell of the band saw at the direction of the drive resonates with its forced vibration force and start vibrating at high prequence. However, due to the turning torque constantly applied to an elastic member 55 installed at the connected part between a connection part 51b of a driving wheel 13 and a connecting part 51b of a worm housing 69 to turn the driving wheel 13 the fluctuation of the force applied to the shell of the band saw can be absorbed by the driving wheel 13 which is in direct contact with the band saw shell and being elastically supported. |
