PURPOSE:To remove grain shape projections on plated surface with frictional by pressing a grinding body formed by frozen liquid such as ice etc on the plated surface of a work, and making the grinding body and the work relatively to slide. CONSTITUTION:The chuck 1 is rotated, to cause the work W be rotated at a constant speed in the theta direction and the grinding body holder 4 is advanced to make the end of the grinding body 5 is pressed to the stepped portion W2 of the work W and is given the vibration in the direction of Y. Because the end surface of the grinding body 5 is worn off gradually by the grinding work, the pusher 6 is gradually shifted forward. Foreign materials removed from the plated surface is washed out from the circumference of the work W by the solution of the grinding body 5. Therefore, the plated surface need not suffer from high frictional temperature, and the work can be kept away from heating. |
