PURPOSE:To improve the flow of fluid through formation of the end of an inside pipe into an arc shape and to facilitate work in a steel pipe technique by curling by placing a ring-like semicircular steel material between the end part of the inside pipe and an outside pipe, then welding, and inserting an elastic material between said steel material an the outside pipe. CONSTITUTION:In a steel pipe technique by curling wherein a mild steel inside pipe 3 is inserted into the leaking part of a cast iron outside pipe 1, an inside pipe 3 is inserted, after which an elastic material ring 4 is adhered and fixed to the inside surface of an outside pipe 1. Next, the plane part of a ring-like steel material 5 of a semicircle in section is mated with the ring 4, and is fixed by means of seal welding 6 to the end part of the inside pipe with the arc part of said material held in tight contact with the end part of the inside pipe 3. Thence, tar epoxy paint 7 is coated or a lining treatment or the like is applied as an inside surface finish. |
