<p>The gang-saw is used for cutting up stone blocks and similar items, its blade frame rocking about the blade centres during each outward and return stroke. The frame is mounted vertically and supported in bearings at the centre, while straight guides are provided at one end and at the centre of it. The attachment point of the straight guides slides at right angles to the stroke direction and dependent on it. The drive to one of the levers of the straight guides can be slid by an eccentric dependent on the speed of the flywheel.</p> |
