PURPOSE:A roasted and decocted tea, prepared by roasting a dried herb of Houttuynia cordata under specific conditions, drinkable in the same way as the green tea at any time, without giving out an offensive smell and effective for naintaining the health and improving the physical constitution. CONSTITUTION:Five sheets of aluminum foils are spread over a roasting pan, and the difference in temperature between the top and bottom faces is set at 120 deg.C with the surface temperature of 110 deg.C. A dried Houttuynia cordata or damp-dry herb thereof is sprayed to give a humidity of about 20% and introduced into the pan and roasted to remove the offensive smell therefrom. The resultant roasted tea has the unchanged drug effect of the Houttuynia cordata, is easily drinkable by anyone and may be drunk daily in place of the green tea. |
