PURPOSE:To obtain a KANJI typewriter enabling laborsaving and efficient printing work by a constitution wherein a lock operation and a lift operation can be performed automatically by a driving power from a motor. CONSTITUTION:By the operation of a printing key 46, a cycle clutch 49 starts to rotate in the direction of an arrow (c) by the driving power from the motor and a lateral lock lever 14 rotates in the direction of an arrow (d), while a lock gearing piece 42 rotates in the direction of an arrow (e), through the intermediary of a gearing cam 50, a transmitting motion control piece 51 and a lock driving control member 41. Gearing with a rack teeth unit 13, the lateral lock lever 14 locks the movement of a type tray A in the right-and-left direction, and a longitudinal lock lever 15, rotating in the direction of an arrow (f) and fitting in the groove of a typedrum sprocket 17, locks the movement of the type tray A in the direction of rotation. By the rotation of a driving shaft 56, a rocking rod 33 is rotated through the intermediary of a lift driving cam 36b and a starting roller 37b and raises the type tray, and then the rocking rod 33 is operated for return by a return driving cam 36a and returned to the type case. |
