PURPOSE:To obtain an ink-jet recording sheet presenting high picture density, clear color tone of picture and high resolution thereof, by using an inorganic pigment in the specified ratio between them and by coating the surface of a supproting body with the same together with an aqueous high-molecular bonding agent. CONSTITUTION:The organic pigment (whose particle size is 0.02-0,8mu and which is obtained preferably through emulsion polymerization of vinyl monomers of hydrocarbon such as styrene) (A) and the inorganic pigment (e.g. clay, talc, calcium carbonate, etc.) (B) are used in the ratio of 95:5-65:35, and they are applied, together with the aqueous high-molecular bonding agent, such as starch oxide, CMC and PVA, of 5-30 parts (to 100 parts of the pigments) preferably, on the surface of the supporting body such as paper in the amount of application of 5-30g/m<2> preferably, thereby the desired sheet is obtained. |
