PURPOSE:To obtain the thermal recording paper of which both thermal response and water resistance are remarkably improved and which is fitted for a thermal label for packing foodstuff and the like, by making specific aromatic oligomer contained in a thermally color-developing layer and by providing the same on a paper-form supporting body. CONSTITUTION:In the thermally color-developing layer whose main constituents are leuco dye such as 2-[N-(3'-trifluoromethylphenyl)amino]-6-diethylaminofluoran and phenolic acid substance developing the color of this dye in the heat, such as bisphenol A, oligomer (this has characteristics that it shows the property as a low-molecular polymer in the solid state, has the softening point of 85-95 deg.C and, in addition, shows low viscosity when it is melted) which is expressed by the formula (wherein n is 6-7) and has the molecular wt. of 800-1,800 is further made contained in the rate of 0.5-5pts.wt. preferably, to one part of the leuco dye. The layer thus prepared is applied on the paper-form supporting body. EFFECT:Said paper is evaluated to be excellent in the desity of color-development, sticking, refuse on a head, etc. |
