<p>Laundry rotary drum driers have a motor unit comprising an electric motor whose shaft is connected at one end to a fan intended to provoke air drying. The fan is mounted to rotate in a housing with an axial entrance orifice and a tangential exit orifice. The other end of the shaft is connected to a reduction unit used to turn the drum by means of a belt drive. The reduction unit comprises a compact assembly which, with the fan and frame, is fitted to the drier by means of a C-shaped bracket. The motor unit is simple, economical and compact. The prodn. and assembly of the unit is simplified.</p> |
