<p>The pressure ring (13a) of the rotary coupling is solidly coupled in the axial direction to a second ring (14a) whose external surface (A) slopes in the opposite direction and bears against the mating internal surface of an additional external ring (17) forming the piston. The supply union (30) for the hydraulic fluid is connected directly to the cylinder (27). The angle of each taper surface is very slightly greater than the angle of frictional contact between the pairs of surfaces. The axial locking position of the external rings (16,17) can be restricted by a stop (24), e.g. a stop screw on one of them, and adjustable in the axial direction.</p> |
