PURPOSE:To make the fabrication of a compact performance tester of good controllability for driving machines possble by controlling and measuring torque by means of pressure or amt. of oil by using an oil hydraulic motor. CONSTITUTION:The working pressure or the load resistance of the flow rate of an oil hydraulic motor is made constant, and the rate of change in the quantity of discharge is determined from the angle of inclination of the swash plate of the oil hydraulic motor and is converted and displayed to and in a torque value. An actuator for controlling the angle of inclination of the swash plate is operated by this torque value via a valve for commanding control of the angle of inclination of the swash plate of the hydraulic motor, whereby the quantity of discharge is controlled and the absorprion torque of driving power is controlled. For example, a swash plate type piston ol hydraulic motor 4 is connected via a coupling 3 to a test driving machine 2 mounted onto a surface plate 1, and the pressure thereof is made constant with an actuator 14 for controlling pressure. From the angle of inclination of a swash plate 4e of the motor, torque is determined by the quantity of a swash plate 4e of the motor, torque is determined by the quantity of discharge and further an actuator 11, etc. are operated by making use of said value, whereby the angle of the plate 4e is controlled and the absorption towque of driving power is set and controlled. |
