<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of a liq. crystal in an electrooptical display device due to aging by washing parts to be washed for the device in a washing vessel made of fluoroplastics. CONSTITUTION:Parts to be washed such as substrates of glass, plastics or the like and electrode plates coated optionally with insulating layers for an electrooptical display device, especially a liq. crystal display device are immersed in an aqueous soln. of a nonionic surfactant such as polyethylene glycol monostearate having 0.1-30wt% concn. in a washing vessel made of fluoroplastics. They are washed under ultrasonic waves, washed with alcohol, and dried. Components of a convetional washing vessel are slowly dissolved in such a washing soln., and the dissolved components act as impurities for a liq. crystal. By this method such dissolution can be prevented, and the deterioration speed of a liq. crystal can be improved.</p> |
