PURPOSE:To prevent position shift in a switch due to malfunction, by detecting a number code corresponding to a switching pole number of a rotary optical switch and comparing the code with the content of indication. CONSTITUTION:A disc 21 making a code corresponding to a pole number of an optical switch on the same shaft as a reflection mirror 3 is fixed to a step motor 5. A switch number code to be connected is instructed by a keyboard 31, and a code signal is applied to a comparison circuit 33. A pole number code on the disc 21 is detected at a photodetector 25, amplified at an amplifier 26, supplied to the comparison circuit 33 and the input from an instruction section is compared with the input from amplifier. The step motor 5 is driven until the input signal is coincident, allowing to accurately operate an optical switch without malfunction. |
