PURPOSE:To improve handleability of a titled apparatus, by enabling to know the residual cooking time through employment of an arrangement capable of calculating and displaying the residual time required for completion of cooking from the time period passed from starting of cooking to the time when a maximum output is produced by a gas sensor and a time period passed from the time when the maximum output is produced by the gas sensor to the time when the maximum output lowers by a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:With starting of cooking under an initial condition obtained by removing residual gas in a heating chamber in a gas sensor 9, output of the gas sensor 9 is increased with time and it is applied every moment to a micro-computer 12 via a sensor circuit 10 and an A/D converter 11. The micro-computer 12 calculates the residual cooking time T3 from the time T1 when a maximum output (b) is produced and a time T2 at a point (c) when the maximum output (b) is lowered a predetermined level through processing of a program relating to the type and data of a food to be cooked, and the residual cooking time thus calculated is displayed at a displaying section 5 by the aid of an indication control circuit 13 and a driver 14. Thus, it is enabled to know the residual cooking time definitely without inspecting the food to be cooked directly visually. |
