PURPOSE:To burn liquid fuel efficiently, by mixing liquid fuel and water at a proper ratio through provision of mixers, and atomizing the fuel-water mixture at a predetermined ejection pressure. CONSTITUTION:Water from a water tank 13 is supplied to a first mixer 19 via conduits 14, 16, 18, pump 15 and a check valve 17, while liquid fuel from a fuel tank 23 is supplied also to the first mixer 19 via conduits 24, 26, 28, 30, pump 25, flow meter 27 and a check valve 29. The mixture liquid of fuel and water mixed in the first mixer 19 is once stored in a mixing tank 24 and then carried to a second mixer 38 via conduits 35, 37 and a pump 36. The mixture liquid from the second mixer 38 is supplied to a burner 43 of a boiler 42 via a conduit 41 and burnt by the burner 43. Here, a fuel return pipe 44 is provided to extend from the burner 43 to the mixing tank 34, and a by-pass pipe 45 is provided to connect the fuel return pipe 44 and conduit 41 by the intermediary of a by-pass valve 46, which controls the pressure of mixture liquid supplied from the second mixer 38 by the aid of a pressure gauge 47. |
