The removable frying-pan handle incorporates a thermometer and suction pad for attachment. The casing of the thermometer (2) has a guide ring (3) which can be moved axially in relation to the suction pad (5), so that the thermometer(2) can be pressed against the upper surface of the lid (7). The guide ring (3) joined to the casing and handle (1) has a thread (3a) which engages with the thread of a ring (4) forming part of the suction pad (5).
