REFRIGERANT FLOW CONTROL VALVE FOR AIR CONDITIONERS

PURPOSE:To improve the wear resistance of sliding surfaces by disposing two O- rings side by side in the direction of the valve stem movement on the sliding surfaces of the valve body and stem and also by providing an oil layer space surrounding the valve stem to the midway between the two O-rings. CONSTITUTION:The valve stem 12 is screwed in the valve body 11 on the bearing side by a threaded joint 21. The valve body 11 is fastened to a refrigerant passage valve body 13 by bolt 16 and is sealed by rubber O-ring 17. An oil guide layer 18 is provided between the valve body 11 on the bearing side and the straight sliding surface 12b of valve stem 12, and O-rings 14 and 15 are fitted on both sides of said oil layer. With the two O-rings provided on the straight sliding surface 12b of the valve stem 12, the O-ring on the side of the end of valve stem prevents the leakage of the refrigerant and circulating oil in the cooler cycle to the atmosphere.
