<p>PURPOSE:To perform excellent recording operation by equipping the 1st moving base plate which moves from a backward movement position to a forward movement position in response to reproduction operation and the 2nd moving base plate provided on said base plate movably to two left and right different positions. CONSTITUTION:A cassette 1 has five large and small openings in its front surface and a pad device 2 is provided in the center of the center opening. In response to the reproduction operation of the 1st moving base plate 10, a guide shaft 11 and a guide long-sized hole 12 are provided to enable the movement from a backward movement position to a foward movement position. The 2nd moving base pltae 19 is movable to two left and right different positions on the 1st moving base plate 10. Then, the 2nd moving base plate 19 moves to those two different positions to position small-sized recording and reproducing heads 36 and 27 in recording mode in the center of the cassette center opening in the running direction of a tape, thereby performing excellent recording operation.</p> |
