PURPOSE:To ensure a quick and highly accurate indication to a faulty area and to increase the reliability of a controller, by providing a storage part to store the fault information and a maintenance part to edit and display the fault information along with the occurrence career of fault. CONSTITUTION:A storage part 8 stores the sequence and frequency of occurrence for the fault of memories 4 and 5 plus an I/O6 or the fault of an operation, for example, in the form of the fault information. The maintenance parts 2 and 3 edit and display the fault information stored in the part 8 along with the occurrence career of the fault. For instance, a CPU1 gives an access to a data memory 5, the I/O6, etc. based on a control command read out of a program memory 4 and then executes successively the desired control contents. A fault display device such as a lamp 10, etc. is provided at each area of such controller as mentioned above, and at the same time the memory part 8 is provided to a CPU10 along with the maintenance parts 2 and 3. |
