PURPOSE:To securly prevent a foamable material from going round to the back of a core material when the core material is integrated with a foamed layer, by molding a foamed layer, which is to be formed on one side of the core material, between a mold and a cover covering the core material. CONSTITUTION:The film 16 formed into a prescribed shape and a skin 15 are placed in position on the upper and lower mold 5, 6, the foamable molding material 9 is injected into the cavity, and it is formed monolithically in an oven. Since the formation of the foamed layer 17 is carried out in the molds where the core material is absent, the foamable material would not go round the back of the core material 18 as in a prior art, the foaming of the foamable material is balanced with the quantity of the injected material to achieve precise and uniform foaming. In other words, occurence of cavities due to ununiform foaming or defectives due to uneven rigidity or the like would be prevented. |
