<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound useful as a disinfectant for disinfecting a birdcage, experimental tools, human hands, etc., by reducing a dioxopyrrolidine derivative, followed by subjecting a protecting group to an elimination reaction further, if necessary. CONSTITUTION:A compound shown by the formula I(Y is amino group which may be protected; R<1> is H or N-protecting group of cyclic imide group; R<2> is H or carboxy-protecting group) is reduced with a reducing agent (e.g., alkali metal boron hydride) in an aqueous solution of a lower alkanol such as methyl alcohol, etc. at -15-50 deg.C at a pH 7-10, and, if necessary, a protecting group is reremoved, to give a compound shown by the formula II. The compound shown by the formula Ias the starting material is obtained by reacting a compound shown by the formula III with a compound shown by the formula IV or its reactive derivative (Y' is a protecting group like Y) in the presence of a condensation agent (e.g., N,N-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide, etc.) in a solvent such as acetone.</p> |
