PURPOSE:To unnecessitate a cooling tank, and to make an apparatus as a whole compact, by immediately setting an extruded resin by blowing high temperature cooling water toward outlets of a die in pelletizing a linearly extruded resin. CONSTITUTION:By letting cooling water 8 pass through first, second and third heaters 4-6 by opening valves 11, 13, 14, 15, 29, 30, the cooling water 8 cools a barrel 3 to maintain it at a suitable temperature, and the cooling water 8 that has absorbed heat by this cooling, and has been heated to high temperatures is discharged via a warm water passageway 10 from a nozzle 3 under pressure of air against mold bores 22 in the outer surface of the die 21. At this time, the resin that has been linearly extruded through the mold bores 22 of the die 21 is suitably set immediately by the high temperature cooling water 8, and is pelletized by a cutter 23 to be discharged through a window hole 32 of a cover 31 without them being adhered to each other. |
