PURPOSE:To prevent the heat generation of an IC and to reduce the power consumption for a system as a whole, by cutting off the power supply to a memory of the low using number of times during a queuing mode. CONSTITUTION:For a power supply control circuit 9 for a memory 4, a flip- flop 91 fetches an input with the rise of the timing pulse when the activation is desired for the memory 4 with a CE line 18 used as an input. Thus a delay of a machine cycle is caused by an activation request given from the line 18 and while the memory 4 is activated. At the same time, the power supply to the memory 4 is increased up to a prescribed level of voltage during a machine cycle since the memory 4 is activated by the line 18. |
