PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration in quality of a processed food, e.g. a croquette, in the titled apparatus for the food, by removing a refuse in a cutter consisting of a piano wire put around reels with the forward and reverse rotations of a driving apparatus. CONSTITUTION:A piano wire 8 is put around opposite reels (1a) and (1b) in the form of a loop to provide a cutter, which is driven by a motor 15. Recessed crowns (2a) and (2b) are loose fitted to the reels (1a) and (1b), and refuse removing arms having a refuse removing piece 4 and a refuse removing lever 5 respectively are provided on the outer peripheries thereof. The piano wire 8 is provided with a dog 16, which is sensed by a limit switch to rotate the motor 15 in the forward and reverse directions, reciprocate the piano wire 8 and cut a food. Refuses attached to the piano wire 8 are removed by either one of the refuse removing pieces 5 right and left. |
