PURPOSE:To lengthen the backup time of a control circuit without using a backup power supply having large capacitance by mounting a backup capacitor charged through a diode for blocking reverse currents from a DC power. CONSTITUTION:The charges of a backup capacitor C2 charged through a diode D1 for blocking reverse currents from a DC power are discharged only to the power circuit DC side without being discharged to the inverter circuit IN side, and function as a power supply for backup of a control circuit CO. Since the power consumption of the control circuit CO is much smaller than that of a motor M at that time, the backup time of the control circuit CO can be lengthened sufficiently without using a backup power supply having large capacitance.
