A plastic dowel body (1) which has a square plan is provided in the four corner regions with one nail bar (5) each. A straddling dowel (6) is bonded into each of these nail bars. A dowel body (1) to be arranged above the undercoat in the ceiling is intended for supporting a metal or plastic frame (7) on the ceiling. A side wall of the frame has an opening (8) through which the cable to be branched can be led out near the ceiling and parallel to it. The frame (7) is provided with corner webs (10), through which screws (14) engaging in the straddling dowels (6) project. The front opening (9) of the frame (7) is sealed by a cover (12). <IMAGE>
