The speed revolution of the pinch roller(13) is controlled by the signal of the generating power which come from the sensor. The sensor perceives the surface level (2) of molten steel ni the mold(11). The surface level of molten steel is suppressed by the radiation rate of the billet (12). This method has two step; one step detects the deviation signal between the real rate of radiation and the required rate of the radiation, the other step adjusts the flowing amount of molten steel which stream into mold.
