A device is described in a sack filter having at least one row of essentially vertically arranged filter sacks, each filter sack (1, 2, 3) being closed at its lower end and connected at its upper end to an air supply by means of a casing (6) which extends into the end of the sack, and a support (7) is inserted into each sack to keep it open. The object of the invention is to create a simplified device of this type. According to the invention, the filter sacks (1, 2, 3) are produced in a row from two webs of filter material (11), the webs being joined together by seams (9, 10) or the like to delimit individual sacks (1, 2, 3). The seams (10) between the sacks (1, 2, 3) run straight and proceed without interruption from one end of the sack to the other. Each sack (1, 2, 3) is arranged in such a manner that it is held by its upper end on the associated casing (6), that the filter material (11) is clamped between the casing (6) and a holding device (8, 14, 15), which surrounds the casing along the greater part of its periphery and is so arranged that the filter material between two neighbouring casings remains uninfluenced. <IMAGE> |
