PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform quick and positive automatic washing, by jetting washing liquid and air through nozzles to the liquid infiltration type absorbance sensor which has finished the analysis of sample liquid. CONSTITUTION:When the analysis of the sample in a reacting tube 22 conveyed by a endless driving belt and the like has been finished by the liquid infiltration type absorbance sensor 1, the horizontal rotation of a cabinet 17 and the up and down movement of the sensor 1 by a motor M are controlled. Then, the sensor 1 is positioned to face nozzle bodies 6 and 6 of tubular main body 5. After the sensor has been washed by jetting of the washing liquid such as water and the like from the nozzles 6 and 6, a pump is changed to an air pump 10 by a control part 11, and air is jetted to dry it. Thus the automatic washing of the sensor 1 can be performed quickly and positively. Then the sensor 1 is inserted into the next reacting tube 22, and the continuous automatic chemical analysis is performed. |
