PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of ununiformity in spectral characteristics and blurring by forming different color filter patterns on a plurality of substrates, joining the substrates together, and removing one of the substrates. CONSTITUTION:A cyan filter layer 2 is formed on a transparent substrate 1, and a yellow filter layer 3 on a metallic molybdenum substrate 5. The substrates are joined together with a transparent adhesive 6 and immersed in a ferric nitrate soln. to dissolve the substrate 5. Thus, a color separating filter is obtd. When this filter is used to assemble a pickup tube, a transparent electrode and a photoconductive film can be formed as they are because the filter surface is smooth. When a filter layer is obtd. by a conventional method repreating a process for applying a dyeable photosensitive soln. and dyeing the formed pattern, the layer is made different in thickness between a part where the cyan and yellow patterns are superposed on each other and a single-pattern part. By this method the occurrence of such ununiformity can be prevented. |
