<p>The pedal bicycle has a frame with pedals (13,14) driving the rear wheels (2) via a chain with a free wheel. A kinematic couoling (15) connects the pedal cranks so that, as one is pressed down through a given angle, the other is raised by a corresponding equal angle. Stops, on the frame, cooperate with the pedal cranks to restrain their movement to an angle of 130 degrees. A secondary transmission (5a) symmetrically opposed to the first, is also mounted on the pedal crank.</p> |
