The invention relates to sized glass fibres and to the use thereof for reinforcing polymeric materials. The glass fibres are treated with a size containing an aliphatic polyurethane, a ureido-functional silane, an amino-functional silane, lubricants and water. The polymers reinforced with the sized glass fibres have improved UV resistance.
