In the case of a pipeline coupling having two tubular coupling parts which can be plugged into one another, the first coupling part has an insertion opening which is arranged coaxially and is matched to the second coupling part. Furthermore, an annular seal is provided between the two coupling parts, which annular seal can be clamped in in a tightly sealing manner by means of at least two clamping levers which are held on the first coupling part, are arranged distributed uniformly around the circumference, can pivot in a limited manner about an axis running at right angles to the coupling longitudinal axis and engage detachably on a shoulder of the second coupling part, which shoulder faces away from the first coupling part. In order to simplify production and handling, and in order to improve the functional reliability, guide elements (5, 19) which align the second coupling part (2) coaxially with respect to the first coupling part (1) are provided on said second coupling part (2), and the load arms of the clamping levers (13, 14) are constructed as self-locking eccentrics (15, 16) which engage directly on the shoulder of the second coupling part (2), are identical to one another and have clamping strokes which rise in the circumferential direction around the lever shafts (12). <IMAGE>
