摘要 The invention relates to a mechanical device for levelling heavy objects which are intended to be moved into a specific orientation or to a specific level (also called the "aligning element" in general technical language). The device consists of three parts which are easy to manufacture and whose essential function makes them generally usable as an aligning element or lifting element, as a result of the use of the differential thread. A base body (1), which is provided with a groove to prevent the actuating body (3) rotating, has a thread whose pitch differs from that of the actuating body (3). The actuating nut (2) engages in this thread, which actuating nut (2) engages by means of a further internal thread in the actuating body (3), in the same pitch sense. By rotating the actuating nut, this moves by one pitch of the thread on the base body (1) per revolution, but is screwed into the actuating body by the difference between the pitches of the two threads. Said actuating body is prevented from rotating at the same time by the arrangement of the pin/groove and can in consequence carry out only a lifting movement in proportion to the difference between the threads of the base body (1) and actuating body (3). A fine thread having a difference between the two pitches of 0.5 mm thus results, for example, from the coarse initial thread pairing of M36/M30. <IMAGE>
