PURPOSE:To lower the center of gravity of a car without reducing the minimum road clearance by feeding the exhaust collected into an exhaust collecting box arranged on the side of an engine from the upper part of the outer periphery of a turbine housing. CONSTITUTION:The supercharger S for compressing the intake air by use of exhaust energy is installed in the rear lower part of and engine E. The exhaust pipes 8 from each cylinder are collected into an exhaust collecting box 14, and connected to a turbine T through a common exhaust pipe 15. The common exhaust pipe 15a is connected to the upper part of the outer periphery of a turbine housing. As the common exhaust pipe 15 is connected from the upper part of the supercharger, the installation position of the supercharger can be lowered, and rise of the center of gravity of a car can be prevented. |
