By means of this invention, an additional container made of zinc with a casing thickness of approximately 0.8 to 1 mm is attached to the coolant container in motor vehicles and supplies warm water for the window washing and wiping system. This additional container is installed directly on the side of the existing coolant container so that warm water is always available in the additional container for the washing system through the side wall of the coolant container (heated cooling water) and the windows can be kept clean with warm water. The previously existing cooling system of the passenger car remains unchanged. Even only a short time after the start of the engine, it is thus ensured that both the cooling water and the water supply for the window washing system are heated up so that even a short time after the start of a journey warm water is available for the washing system. Since the additional container with warm water for the window wiping system is attached directly to the existing radiator, the small plastic container in which the water has hitherto been stored for the washing system will in future be dispensed with. Otherwise, the window washing system is preserved in the same form as in the past. The invention provides substantially greater safety for the car driver and road traffic.
