<p>PURPOSE:To correspond to conversion of various pictures by use of a small scale device, by converting the scanning density based on an incoming picture information, by each converter. CONSTITUTION:A main scanning information register 11 inputs a digital information S0 in series, and reads out a parallel signal S1. Its output signal S1 is inputted to a main scanning information converter 12, the converter 12 makes the output signal S1 as an address signal, and converts the scanning density regarding the main scanning direction. This conversion is executed by a prescribed algorithm stored in an ROM, by contents of conversion and a scale factor of conversion such as magnification, reduction, etc. The output of the conveter 12 is delayed by a prescribed scanning line portion by a subscanning information register 14. An output S4 of this register 14 is sent to a subscanning information converter 15, and its signal is converted in the direction falling at right angles with the main scanning direction. In this way, in accordance with an incoming picture information, the scanning density is converted like N lines and M rows M lines and N rows M lines and M rows by the converters 12, 15.</p> |
