PURPOSE:To intend absorption of an impact energy produced at an unserious collision and reduction in weight by stretching a tension beam between left and right automotive members, fitting an urethane member to the front part of the tension beam, and covering the member with a film. CONSTITUTION:Block members 4 are respectively secured to both left and right ends of a front face 1a of a chassis frame 1. A tension beam 5 of a steel plate is stretched in the front of those block members 4 and fastened with fitting bolts 6, 7. Additionally, an urethane member 8 is fit to the front part 5a of the tension beam 5 and covered with a film 9. If a walking man or other objects 10 may run into a car, the shock is so weak that the man or those are less apt to be injured, thereby enhancing the safety. |
