PURPOSE:To simplify the work of mooring and the maintenance check by mooring a square floating body for oil storage in its longitudinal sides by fixed mooring dolphins and in its end faces by arms fixed on the dolphins. CONSTITUTION:A tank yard to store oil on the sea is constructed of a sea wall 1, a breakwater 2, movable parts 7, and others, while square tank floating bodies 3 are moored in this yard. At this stage, each floating body 3 is moored in its longitudinal sides 3a by the use of fixed mooring dolphins 4 and 5 via fenders 13, and in its end faces 3b by the use of arms 11 fixed on the fixed mooring dolphins 4 and 5 via fenders 14. This construction permits to simplify the work of mooring and the maintenance check for mooring in comparison with conventional uses of chains and others. |
