The rotary cutter for cutting bread or meat has teeth (111) separated from each other by undercut zones (12). Each tooth consists of two sloping surfaces (15,16), the leading surface (16) sloping at an acute angle to a tangent to the base circle of the teeth. The following surface (15) slopes at an obtuse angle to this tangent, and terminates in a sharp tip (11'). One side of the tooth is flat, formed by the face (10) of the disc, and the other side slopes inwards, so that the following surface (15) is triangular in shape. The sloping side of the tooth is formed by the sloping outside face of the disc, near its periphery. The two sides (13,14) of the undercut zone (12) are parallel.
|
