Connection between a tractor vehicle and a trailer. The towing attachment is characterised in that it comprises a first part (3) fixed permanently onto the tractor vehicle (1), a second part (5) complementary to the first part and connected by a joint (13) to the pole (6) of a trailer, and a security system for assembling and interlocking (16) said first and second parts.
