PURPOSE:To facilitate ignition of a bundle of incense sticks with a match or lighter without any fear of fire or burn by a method wherein a rectangular chimney is provided with a cross-shaped flame port, a roof and two mounting blocks for one bundle of incense sticks being removed to spread into a fan form. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular chimney 1 is provided with a cross-shaped ignition port 2, a vertical side of the cross is a fire port for a match and a lateral side is an ignition port for a lighter. The tapered front part 3 of an incense stick mount has divided the rectangular chimney 1. The upper part of the rectangular chimney 1 is opened, right and left roofs 5 are pushed by a beam 6 and a garret is applied as a match or light storing receptacle 2. The rectangular chimney 1 makes a superior air passage to a fire pan 9 through an air hole 8. The incense stick mounting block rear part 4 is provided with a higher slit than that of a stick mounting block front part 3 of the partition of the rectangular chimney. A stopper hole 11 is fitted with spikes and the like so as to prevent an entire system from being blown off with wind and rain and a stopper foot 10 is applied. One bundle of the incense sticks is removed, it is spread like a fan and narrowed to a width of 5-6 mm, placed close to the rectangular chimney ignition port 2 at the incense stick mounting block front part 3 and then ignited with a match or lighter.
