PURPOSE:To decrease the number of readout lines by outputting a drive noise read at the same operation mode and a photoelectric transducing signal indepen dently and adding the noise component for readout. CONSTITUTION:The photoelectric transducing signal of a B-Tr10 and a drive noise are stored respectively in CT1, CT2 and the photoelectric transducing signal of B-TR20 and drive noise are stored in the CT3, CT4 respectively, and in reading the signals, the photoelectric transducing signal are outputted simultaneously and independently to horizontal signal lines S2, S3 and the drive noises are both outputted to the horizontal signal line S1. Thus, the drive noise is outputted with addition. Since the drive noise is outputted independently of the photoelectric conversion signal in this way, it in not required to provide lots of memory devices externally. Since the drive noise is outputted with addi tion, the number of horizontal signal lines is decreased and the multi-horizontal line readout system is attained.
