PURPOSE:To lessen polarization of an electrode and serve to take out a large current by containing nickel vanadate or cobalt vanadate as a catalyst used for a positive electrode (oxygen electrode) of a fuel cell, etc. CONSTITUTION:A catalyst is added and mixed with carbon powder or teflon powder, and the mixture is put in a forming metal mold together with a nickel net, then is heated and pressed to produce a positive electrode (oxygen electrode) of a fuel cell or an air cell. Nickel vanadate (Ni2V2O7) or cobalt vanadate (Co2V2O7) is used as the catalyst to be added. |
