PURPOSE:To improve the ease of mounting and operation of the entire part of a titled device and the accuracy of the position detection of a probe by providing the probe, a position detector and an operating part to a bracket which can be moved together with a holding body that can be scanned on the circumferential surface of an object to be examined. CONSTITUTION:After a holding body 14 is mounted on the circumferential surface of a turbine rotor 1, an ultrasonic probe 22 is brought into contact with the arbitrary surface to be examined of a dynamic vane tab tail part 3 which is an object to be examined and respective members are set in a flaw detecting state. A handle 28 of an operating part 26 is rotated, and the set of a sprocket wheel 31 is rotated by means of a revolving shaft 27 and gears 29, 30, whereby the body 14 is scanned. A bracket 17 is moved around a turbine rotor 1 by the scanning of the body 14, and the probe 22 scans to detect the flaws on the surface to be examined. The signal thereof is inputted to an operator. The position of the probe 22 is detected by an X-direction detector 23, a Y-direction detector 24 and a beta angle position detector 25 mounted to the bracket 17, and the signals thereof are inputted to the operator, by which they are arithmetically processed and the result is displayed in a cathode ray tube of the flaw detector. |
