PURPOSE:To prevent the corrosion of a magnetic thin film without spoiling the functions that a wool mat has originally, by adding fine powder of active carbon in the wool mat. CONSTITUTION:A wool mat 6 is fitted to a part which comes into contact with the reverse surface of a tape in a cassette case 7. Then, fine powder of active carbon is added to the wool mat 6 to adsorb corrosive components, preventing the corrosion of a magnetic tape 3 without spoiling the functions of the wool mat. The mixing rate of the active carbon is preferably 5-25wt%. |
