PURPOSE:To enlarge allowance of machining precision of the positions of a communication port and a jetting nozzle by providing a plurality of communication ports in a wall between an inside ink chamber and an outside ink chamber of a dual ink chamber type on-demand ink-jet recording device. CONSTITUTION:In a dual ink chamber type on-demand ink-jet recording head wherein ink pressure inside the inside ink chamber 6 is changed by pressure impressing means 11 and 12, wherein an ink supply passage is connectd to the outside ink chamber 7 communicated with the inside ink chamber 6 and wherein an ink jetting nozzle 10 is provided in the outer wall of the outside ink chamber 7, a plurality of communication ports 8 and 9 are provided in the wall between the inside and outside ink chambers 6 and 7 in such a manner that they are positioned apart from the axial line of the jetting nozzle 10. It is preferable that the communication ports 8 and 9 are arranged on the same circumference of the axis of the jetting nozzle 10. |
