PURPOSE:To form continuously the desired length of a square hose from the tape extruded by an extruder, by adding the specified squarely deforming device which rotates synchronizing with rotation of the hose at a cylindrical hose former. CONSTITUTION:A rotating and proceeding hose on a forming roll 11 group is made to proceed onto the squarely deforming device (c) while still soft. The squarely deforming device (c) is constituted to be coaxial with the axis of a hypothetical cylinder of the forming roll 11 group, that is, coaxial with the hose and cantilever type, and protrude a bearing tube 21 and support the axis of a tube object 22 which is inserted in the inside of the tube 21 via the bearing and enabled to rotate freely. The hose is gradually deformed into the square form, matching with proceeding of a roller chain 25 from a small hypothetical square tube and making the part contacting to the roller chain 25 the corner part of the hose, cooled and solidified by the cooling means 29, thus the square hose is formed. |
