PURPOSE:To realize the detection for the contour of information on the characters, etc. written onto an original, by providing a circuit that controls the light volume of two light sources plus each of these light sources and a comparing and detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:The light (a) given from a light source 1 is irradiated to an original 9, and the reflected light (c) is supplied to an image sensor 61. The sensor 61 supplies the voltage to an information process circuit 62 and then binary coding the voltage to supply it to a storage element group 7. The light (b) given from a light source 2 is irradiatd to the original 9, and the reflected light (c) is binary coded through the circuit 62 via an image sensor 6 to be supplied to a comparing and detecting circuit 8. The circuit 8 compares the 1-line information (k) sent from the circuit 62 with the 1-line information (l) to which the 1-line information is l-line information is already stored and to be read out of the circuit 62. Then only the contour part is extracted for the information on the characters written on the original 9. |
